Our understanding of the principles of the Hindu temple tends to remain confined to the thin diagrammatic facsimiles such as ‘the nine- square mandala’ or ‘northern style temple vs. the southern style temple’.

The aim has been to dig into the heart and soul of Hinduism, of Hindu temple design principles and philosophical propositions, and having understood and digested them, reinterpret and re-express them in new light, in a new way, with new forms.
