Two words- Karya ' कार्य ' meaning  work  and Sthan ' स्थान ' meaning  place  together combined and its usage commonly to refer HANDIWORK, form the word Karasthani   ‘ कारस्थानी ’    -    ' a creative effort '.

I faintly remember those childhood memories from my native town, when after all were asleep in the afternoon, I used to sneak into the underground store of my house… And, all I did there was gather up unused stuff, boxes, wires, boards, leftover thermocol from packaging of appliances, anything which caught my attention to create something with. Tip-toed back to my room with all this stuff and get on to the task!   Mom, when got up seeing all the mess would say in a mild scolding tone - "Aaj kya Kaarasthani chal raha hai?" “What are you up to today?" 

Years later this blog is something with which I wanted to share all the things that I do, create and think from the underground store of My Mind..
