The city is constructed by its 'parts' unlike any body which can be reffered as 'Elements'. The elements are formed by buildings and the space enclosed through a set of relationships and representing a particular character and image. This exists through an urban process and urban systems.

The studio was an exploration in participating in the process of physical development of the living organism 'CITY' by understanding its structure and form and the organizing principles.

 

The exercise in the studio was focussed to document, analyze, the elements of the city to understand the character and image of the city formed by the elements and design interventions to explore Urban Design.
