People’s Participation in Evolving Humane Habitats

 

The focus was on the studies, ideas and activities for shaping humane and sustainable communities at local and grass root level in rural, urban and regional contexts. We aimed to develop strategies for enhancing and strengthening people’s participation in evolving Humane Habitats. The thrust was to formulate an action programme for effective and constructive people’s participation in all aspects of human habitat, at all levels and in all agencies and institutions responsible for planning, implementation development, and maintenance of our habitats.
