Warehouse (Theme Restaurant)

 

 

Converted from a warehouse, the restaurant has a great sense of space. “the actual structure and materials used to construct the building should be visible”, for this reason, the elements of the structure and of the old factory where left to be seen.

Inside, the restaurant is embodied with design ideas everywhere. The restaurant also has a bar and barbecue.

To emphasize the building’s industrial characteristics, most of the existing structure was unchanged.To minimize the renovation budget, objects found around the site were used— iron doors, chains, ladders and ropes  as decorative elements, and barrels as seating. The ceiling is very high making the spacious volume. The trusses were painted with red primer, highlighting the contrast between old and new.The warehouse themed restaurant looks ecstatic with its rustic vivacity.
